Core Curriculum

The Brain Builder curriculum is designed to provide a well-rounded education that prepares students for success in the 21st century. We believe in providing a rigorous academic program that is balanced with opportunities for creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving.

Our curriculum is grounded in the STEAM fields - Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics - which are integrated into all aspects of our program. We believe that STEAM education provides a strong foundation for learning and prepares our students for the future.

Our literacy program focuses on developing strong reading, writing, and communication skills. We use a variety of research-based strategies and materials to support our students in becoming proficient readers and writers. Our teachers use small group instruction and individualized support to ensure that each student is making progress.

Our math program is designed to develop strong mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills. We use a hands-on approach to math instruction that emphasizes real-world applications and problem-solving. Our students love playing math games and are encouraged to explain their thinking and strategies.

In addition to our core academic program, we offer a variety of extracurricular classes during school hours to provide a well-rounded education. We are currently offering Piano, Spanish, and Field Studies in Thatcher Woods. These classes provide opportunities for creativity, self-expression, and physical activity.

At our school, we believe in providing opportunities for students to develop 21st-century skills, including critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity. We integrate these skills into our daily instruction and provide opportunities for students to apply them in real-world situations.

Finally, we believe that learning should be fun and engaging! Our teachers use a variety of instructional strategies to keep our students engaged and excited about learning. We believe that a positive attitude towards learning is essential for success in school and beyond.

Thank you for considering our school as a place for your child's education. We are committed to providing a high-quality education that prepares our students for the future.
